Amery Edwards is a junior defensive lineman for Louisiana Tech, standing 6'2" and weighing 285 pounds. A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Edwards prepped at Tioga High School, where he earned First Team All-District honors three times and was named All-State Second Team. He began his college career at Copiah-Lincoln CC in 2023, appearing in 10 games as a freshman and recording 10 tackles and .5 sacks. Edwards tallied 4.0 tackles in a 34-7 win over Mississippi Delta CC on September 14. He did not see game action during the 2025 season and returns to the Bulldogs roster for 2026.
