Zeke Wimbush is a tight end for Liberty who transferred from Virginia Tech. The 6'2", 235-pound redshirt junior from Ashburn, Virginia played in 24 games across the 2023-25 span at Virginia Tech, including 13 appearances in 2024 and 11 in 2025, and contributed on special teams units during both seasons. At Stone Bridge High School, Wimbush was rated a three-star recruit by both recruiting services in 2022 and played quarterback and tight end. As a senior, he recorded 32 receptions for 812 yards with 12 touchdowns, rushed for 840 yards and 19 touchdowns, and threw for 729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
