Peyton Jones is a 5'10", 195-pound running back and kickoff returner for the Liberty Flames. Jones transferred to Liberty from Duke, where he appeared in 30 games across three seasons (2023–25). At Duke, he compiled 112 carries for 422 yards with five touchdowns, caught 11 passes for 117 yards and one score, and returned 26 kickoffs for 557 yards (21.4 avg.). His 2024 season featured 82 carries for 317 yards, three touchdowns, and 18 kickoff returns for 382 yards. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Jones graduated from Maury High School, where he recorded 3,273 all-purpose yards and 34 touchdowns in his final two years and earned All-America honors. He enters 2026 as a redshirt junior after appearing in four games in 2025.
