Tino Merlo is an offensive lineman for the Kentucky Wildcats standing 6'2" and weighing 278 pounds. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he played both offensive and defensive line at Cardinal Mooney High School under head coach Carl Pelini, earning All-State and All-Steel Valley Conference honors. He also competed in track and field in shot put and discus as a four-year letterwinner. Merlo joined Kentucky as a freshman in 2023 and has practiced with the team through his junior season in 2025. He has earned Dean's List recognition in both fall 2024 and fall 2025, along with SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll selection.
