Sam Greene is a redshirt junior jack linebacker for the Kentucky Wildcats who transferred from USC. The Washington, D.C. native attended St. Frances Academy, where he earned three-star recruit status (483 ranking). At USC, he appeared in 15 games across two seasons with three starts, recording 15 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, one sack and two quarterback hurries. Since joining Kentucky, Greene has played in nine games with nine starts. In 2025, he compiled 25 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sacks, four quarterback hurries and one pass deflection before sustaining a season-ending injury versus Florida on November 8.
