Jason Patterson is a running back for the Kentucky Wildcats who was redshirted as a freshman in 2024, appearing in four games with 20 carries for 111 yards and one reception for 15 yards. A native of Sneads, Florida, Patterson was rated a three-star recruit and considered a top 50 running back in his class. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore season, he saw action in all 12 games and finished with 57 carries for 225 yards and one rushing touchdown, along with 17 receptions for 85 yards and one receiving touchdown. He also recorded four kick returns for 57 yards. Patterson posted a career-high 80 rushing yards against Eastern Michigan and his longest reception was 19 yards.
