Devin Smith is a 6'0", 231-pound linebacker from Brunswick, Georgia, who chose Kentucky over LSU, South Carolina, Alabama and Auburn. A three-star prospect and top-55 linebacker in the 2024 recruiting class, he recorded 22 career sacks at Brunswick High School, the most in program history. As a senior, Smith tallied 62 tackles with 18.0 tackles for loss and 12.0 sacks. He redshirted during his 2024 freshman season and appeared in the first five games of 2025 before sustaining an injury during the Georgia game on October 4.
