Jaihien Roy is a 6'2", 245-pound right defensive end from Centreville, Maryland, who attended Queen Anne's County High School. He recorded 144 tackles, 40 for loss, and 18 sacks during his high school career and was named a Maryland Public School All-Star as a senior. Roy joined Kent State in 2024, appearing in one game with one tackle at Buffalo. In 2025, his redshirt-freshman season, he played in all 12 games and compiled 15 total tackles (11 solo, 4 assisted), 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 2 quarterback hurries, and 1 pass breakup. He earned Academic All-MAC honors and posted a season-high 3 tackles against NIU.
