Brendyn Smith is a wide receiver for Kent State. The York, PA native attended Central York High School, where he was ranked the 65th best player in Pennsylvania by recruiting services. During his junior year, Smith recorded 69 receptions for 1,054 yards and 12 touchdowns. In his senior season, he caught 76 passes for 1,202 yards and 22 touchdowns while accumulating 1,789 all-purpose yards, including 260 on kick returns and 328 on punt returns. Smith joins the Golden Flashes program as a true freshman for the 2026 class.
