Nasir Smith is a defensive end for Kennesaw State from Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he played at Grayson High School under Coach Santavious Bryant. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Smith was ranked as the No. 48 defensive tackle nationally and No. 86 player in Georgia by national outlets Recruiting. He transferred to Kennesaw State after redshirting during the 2024 season at Georgia Southern. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, Smith appeared in six games and recorded three tackles, including one sack and one tackle for loss. His most productive performance came against FIU on October 21, when he posted two solo tackles and a sack.
