Kody Jones is a nickelback from Memphis, Tennessee, who attended Germantown High School before playing at Michigan (2022-24) and transferring to Kennesaw State. A four-star recruit in the 2022 class, Jones earned three varsity letters during his time with the Wolverines, appearing in games across the defensive backfield and on special teams. In 2025, his senior season with the Owls, Jones played in 12 games and recorded 29 total tackles including 18 solo tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. He added one interception for 29 yards against Louisiana Tech on October 9, three pass breakups, and four quarterback hurries. Jones also contributed nine kickoff returns for 162 yards on special teams.
