Chase Tatum is a true freshman tight end for Kennesaw State, standing 6'3" and weighing 264 pounds. From Cartersville, Georgia, he attended Cass High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner and three-star recruit. As a senior, Tatum caught 24 passes for 293 yards and seven touchdowns while earning first-team all-region honors and helping lead Cass to a region championship. In his junior year, he recorded 13 receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns, earning second-team all-region recognition. As a sophomore, Tatum made 23 catches for 303 yards and one touchdown, also garnering second-team all-region accolades.
