Draeden Punt is a 6'7" defensive end from Orange City, Iowa, who enrolled at Kansas as a true freshman for the 2026 season. A 3-star recruit ranked No. 731 nationally, Punt was rated the No. 8 prospect in Iowa and the No. 64 defensive end in the country by Rivals. At MOC-Floyd Valley High School under coach Grant Hegstad, he earned All-State First Team honors from the Des Moines Register and recorded 28 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 9.5 tackles-for-loss as a junior, helping the Dutchmen reach the state playoffs.
