Dakyus Brinkley is a 6'3", 253-pound right defensive end for the Kansas Jayhawks. A native of Katy, Texas, Brinkley was a four-star recruit in the 2024 class, ranked 323rd overall. He redshirted as a freshman in 2024 before appearing in all 12 games during the 2025 season. In 2025, he recorded 15 tackles (8 solo, 7 assisted), 5.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1.5 sacks. Brinkley notched his first career sacks against Arizona and added a career-high 2.0 tackles-for-loss at Iowa State.
