Bryson Hayes is a 6'0", 190-pound receiver from Wichita, Kansas, who attended Maize Senior High School under coach Gary Guzman. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, Hayes compiled over 2,000 career receiving yards and 23 touchdowns during his prep career, including a junior season with 60 receptions for 962 yards and 10 scores. He chose Kansas over offers from Nebraska, Kansas State, Iowa State and others. Hayes appeared in one game for the Jayhawks in 2025 against Wagner and returns as a redshirt freshman.
