Braylen Rooney is a true freshman quarterback for the Kansas Jayhawks standing 6'5" and weighing 210 pounds. The Phoenix, Arizona native attended Arcadia High School, where he started at quarterback for three consecutive seasons. As a junior in 2023, he completed 170-of-275 passes for 1,909 yards with 21 touchdowns while also rushing for 256 yards and three touchdowns, leading Arcadia to a 12-1 record. In his senior year, he completed 83-of-138 passes for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns across seven games.
