Garrett Oakley is a 6'5", 249-pound tight end from Columbus, Nebraska, who attended Scotus Central Catholic. The redshirt senior was recruited as a three-star prospect in the 2022 class and redshirted that year. Over three seasons of play, Oakley has recorded 71 receptions for 779 yards and 13 career receiving touchdowns, the school record at his position. In 2025, he appeared in 11 games with eight starts, catching 38 passes for 389 yards and six touchdowns, which tied the single-season record for tight ends. His 38 receptions tied for second in program history. Oakley earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors from the coaches and holds Academic All-Big 12 status.
