Trace Burney is a wide receiver for the James Madison Dukes entering his first season. The Jacksonville, Florida native attended Oakleaf High School, where he recorded 40 receptions for 767 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. He also spent time at Fleming Island High School, posting 69 receptions for 1,158 yards and 17 touchdowns during his junior year and earning first-team all-state honors.
