Ryder Post is a 6'4", 255-pound tight end for James Madison University from Broadway, Virginia. At Broadway High School, he earned First Team All-Valley District honors on offense as both a junior and senior, and First Team All-District recognition on defense as a senior. In 2023, he recorded 32 receptions for 579 yards and five touchdowns, and posted 79 tackles with 23.0 tackles for loss as a defensive player. Post also competed in track and field, winning the 2023 Valley District Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and earning two-time All-State and Region 3C champion discus thrower honors. A redshirt sophomore, he made his collegiate debut against Weber State on August 30, 2025, and appeared in three games that season while earning Dean's List and JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete honors.
