Mason Purham is a right defensive end from Hampton, Virginia who attended Bethel High School before playing at Emory & Henry College. In 2023, he did not appear in any games. He made his collegiate debut versus Barton on September 21, 2024, appearing in one game that season. During the 2025 campaign, Purham played in all 11 games and recorded 42 tackles including 21 solo stops, 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and one pass breakup. He posted a career-high 12 tackles with 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack against Anderson on September 27. Purham now joins James Madison as a transfer.
