LaRon Dues is a free safety from Charleston, West Virginia who attended Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Florida. A three-star recruit rated by recruiting services, Dues helped lead Cardinal Mooney to an FHSAA 2A state title during his senior year. He earned first-team all-state honors from sophomore through senior seasons. As a senior, Dues recorded 50 tackles, 33 pass breakups, four interceptions, 17 receptions for 264 yards, and four receiving touchdowns. During his junior season, he posted four interceptions, 25 pass breakups, and 81 tackles. Dues also competed at the first-team all-state level in basketball.
