Gannon Weathersby is a 5'10", 225-pound linebacker from Atlanta, Georgia, who attended Langston Hughes High School. In 2023, he appeared in eight games. During the 2024 season, Weathersby played in all 13 games with one start against Western Kentucky in the Boca Raton Bowl on December 18, recording 22 tackles including 11 solo stops. He registered 1.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. In 2025, Weathersby started 11 of 13 games, posting 57 total tackles with 14 solo, one sack, and 2.5 tackles for loss. He recorded a season-high 11 tackles against Marshall on November 8.
