Ethan Gurela is a tight end for the James Madison Dukes standing 6'3" and weighing 235 pounds. A native of Roswell, Georgia, Gurela earned First Team All-Region honors as both a junior and senior in high school. As a senior, he recorded 29 receptions for 467 receiving yards and three touchdowns. During his junior season, he caught 17 passes for 343 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Gurela helped lead Roswell to the GHSA 6A quarterfinals as a junior and the 5A second round as a senior. He did not see game action during the 2025 season and is currently a redshirt freshman.
