William Hathcock is a left guard for Jacksonville State, standing 6'4" and weighing 300 pounds. The Perry, Florida native played at Taylor County High School, where as a senior he helped the Bulldogs to a 10-2 record and a playoff appearance in the FHSAA Rural State Championship Regional Finals. His offensive line contributed to the team averaging 368 yards of offense and 33 points per game. Hathcock earned FACA First Team All-District honors following his senior campaign and was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services before committing to Jacksonville State over NC State, Bowling Green, and Mercer.
