RJ Rainer is a 6'0", 180-pound right cornerback for Jacksonville State. The Charlotte, NC native attended William A. Hough HS and was a three-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. During his 2025 freshman campaign, Rainer appeared in 11 games with one start in the Conference USA Championship. He recorded 13 tackles and one pass breakup on the season, including a five-tackle performance against Delaware on October 15 and two tackles with a pass breakup in the bowl victory over Troy on December 16.
