Marquis Hood is a defensive tackle from Decatur, Georgia, who attended Decatur High School. Hood began his college career at Fort Valley State, where he recorded eight tackles in six games, including 3.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks. He transferred to North Carolina A&T and earned Second-Team All-Coastal Athletic Association honors in 2025 after registering 44 tackles, 13 for loss, and 8.5 sacks. Hood joined Jacksonville State as a transfer for the 2026 season.
