J.R. Jernigan is a right tackle for Jacksonville State, wearing number 73. The Brewton, AL native attended T.R. Miller HS and currently holds sophomore status. During the 2025 season, Jernigan appeared in nine games on field goal and PAT units while recording 15 reps at right tackle according to analytics services. A business major, he is returning to the Gamecocks roster.
