Jonavan Carr is a left cornerback for Jacksonville State at 6'0" and 173 pounds, a redshirt junior transfer from Albany State. During his 2024 season at Albany State, he appeared in four games with seven tackles, one tackle for loss, an interception, two pass breakups, and a blocked kick. He was named Second-Team All-SIAC and helped the Eagles win the 2025 SIAC Championship while advancing to the Division II quarterfinals. Over his Albany State career, Carr recorded 27 total tackles with 1.5 for loss, 10 pass breakups, and five interceptions.
