Cai Mayowa is a linebacker for Jacksonville State standing 6'2" and weighing 220 pounds. The Hoover, Alabama native prepped at Hoover High School, where his team compiled a 12-1 record and won an AHSAA Class 7A-Region 3 title in 2021, along with three consecutive state runner-up finishes. Mayowa redshirted in 2022 and did not play in 2023. He appeared in six games during 2024, primarily on special teams coverage, recording three tackles including two solo stops. His first tackle of the season came in an overtime victory at LA Tech on November 9, and he added two solo tackles in the regular season finale against Western Kentucky on November 30. In 2025, Mayowa made two appearances against UCF and Liberty.
