Tanner Philpott is a 6'1", 210-pound punter from Waukee, Iowa, who transferred to Iowa from Simpson College. At Waukee Northwest High School, he earned first-team all-district honors as a senior and all-district honorable mention as a junior, while also receiving academic all-state recognition and National Honor Society membership. Philpott, born February 3, 2006, is an educational studies and human relations major and currently holds jersey number 35 for the Hawkeyes.
