Matty McLaughlin is a long snapper for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 6'1", 195-pound St. Louis native lettered four times at De Smet Jesuit High School, where he also played wide receiver. McLaughlin earned all-state, all-metro, and all-conference honors during his senior year and maintained academic first honors all eight semesters. As a snapper, he converted all punt, field goal, and PAT attempts. His junior season, he helped lead De Smet Jesuit to an undefeated record and a state football championship. A pre-business major, McLaughlin returns to Iowa for the upcoming season.
