Leighton Jones is a left guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes standing 6'2" and weighing 288 pounds. The Brownsburg, Indiana native was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. Jones appeared in three offensive line games during 2024 and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. In 2025, he played in 11 games and contributed to offensive production including a 435-yard total offense performance in a 47-7 victory over UMass. He helped the team rush for 200+ yards in five contests, including 310 yards against UAlbany in the season-opener, the most in a season-opener since 2002. Jones is a returning letterwinner for the Hawkeyes.
