Lance Ingold is a 6'5", 251-pound defensive end from Rochester, Illinois, who transferred to Iowa from Northern Illinois. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Ingold saw limited action as a true freshman in 2024 before appearing in six games during the 2025 season. In 2025, he recorded 17 tackles with two for loss and 1.5 sacks, along with one forced fumble, posting a season-high seven tackles against Mississippi State. At Rochester High School, he earned all-state and first-team all-conference honors while helping the team win the Illinois Class 4A state title in 2023. He is a psychology major and Dean's List student.
