Jack Janda is a 6'5", 272-pound defensive lineman from Livonia, MI, who attended Detroit Catholic Central. A three-star recruit in the 2026 class, Janda earned all-state and all-Catholic honors while serving as team captain his senior year. In his final high school season, he accumulated 42 total tackles with 33 solo stops, 15 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. On offense, he caught eight passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Janda also lettered in basketball and baseball. He helped lead his team to a 2025 state championship and two conference titles. Now at Iowa, he carries returning status for the Hawkeyes.
