Devan Kennedy is a redshirt sophomore defensive tackle at Iowa standing 6'3" and weighing 281 pounds. The Glendale, Arizona native from Brophy College Preparatory earned second-team all-region honors as a senior, when he accumulated 49 tackles including 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. As a junior, he recorded 12 tackles with 2.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries and a 72-yard interception return for a touchdown. Kennedy received the Team Leader Award on defense in 2024 after redshirting. In 2025, he made his debut in Iowa's 41-3 victory over Minnesota, recording one solo tackle in his first career action. A psychology major, Kennedy also lettered in basketball at Brophy.
