Cannon Leonard is a right tackle for the Iowa Hawkeyes standing 6'8" and weighing 309 pounds. The Gilman, Illinois native from Iroquois West High School was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. Leonard redshirted in 2023 and 2024 before appearing in all 13 games in 2025, earning letterwinner status. He contributed to offensive line performances including a 310-yard rushing output against UAlbany in the season opener—the most in a season-opening game since 2002—and helped the team exceed 200 rushing yards in five contests. Leonard was named Academic All-Big Ten in 2024 and is an environmental sciences major.
