Cam Buffington is a 6'3", 238-pound linebacker for the Iowa Hawkeyes from Winfield, Iowa. A four-star recruit in the 2024 class, Buffington redshirted in 2024 and received the team's Leader Award on defense and special teams. In 2025, he appeared in six games and recorded seven total tackles, including a career-high four solo tackles in a 37-0 win over Wisconsin. Against Minnesota in a 41-3 victory, he logged his first career interception for 26 yards and added his first pass break-up. Buffington is currently a redshirt sophomore and returning letterwinner.
