Ty Claiborne is a 6'2", 215-pound wide receiver from Lenexa, Kansas, who attended St. James Academy. A two-time all-stater and three-year starter, he recorded 1,099 receiving yards on 84 catches with 14 touchdowns as a senior, adding four rushing touchdowns. As a junior, he caught 76 passes for 1,171 yards and 12 touchdowns. Claiborne redshirted in 2022 and was a squad member in 2023. He appeared in one game in 2024 against Arkansas State, then played in two games in 2025 against Arizona and Oklahoma State. A finance and accounting major, he has earned Academic All-Big 12 honors and multiple Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll selections. He returns for the 2026 season as a redshirt senior.
