Gavin Schieler is a long snapper for the Iowa State Cyclones. The 6'4", 223-pound redshirt freshman from Normal, Illinois was a 4.5-star long snapper prospect at Normal High School, where he earned First Team All-Big Twelve Conference selection at tight end and helped lead his team to a 10-2 record and an Illinois Class 7A state quarterfinal appearance. At the 2024 Kohl's Winter Midwest Showcase, Schieler recorded a .7-second average snap time and scored on 11 of 12 charted snaps. He redshirted during the 2025 season and is on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
