Ethan Stecker is a redshirt freshman linebacker for Iowa State, standing 6'4" and weighing 227 pounds. The Spirit Lake, Iowa native was a three-star prospect rated No. 4 in his state by recruiting services and earned Class 2A All-State honors from the Des Moines Register. In his final high school season, he recorded 74.5 tackles including 22 for a loss and six sacks, while also catching 43 passes for 644 yards and 10 touchdowns. Stecker earned Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team recognition in 2026 and appeared on special teams in the final three games of the 2025 season.
