Kortez Rupert is a wide receiver from East Saint Louis, Illinois, where he played for the Flyers under head coach Darren Sunkett. A consensus three-star prospect, Rupert was ranked No. 16 in Illinois by national outlets and No. 30 by recruiting services, and was tabbed the No. 96 wide receiver nationally by national outlets. As a senior, he recorded 30 receptions for 679 yards and 10 touchdowns and earned IHSA Class 6A first-team All-State honors. He added 24 receptions for 660 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.
