Kaden McConnell is a 6'2", 228-pound linebacker for the Indiana Hoosiers. A native of Greenwood, Indiana, McConnell played at Center Grove High School under head coach Eric Moore, where he was part of an IHSAA state title team as a junior. As a senior, he recorded 81 tackles with 3.0 tackles for loss. McConnell also competed in wrestling, finishing fifth at the IHSAA state championships at 190 pounds as a senior and placing as state runner-up at 195 pounds his junior year. He joined Indiana as a walk-on in fall 2024 and redshirted his freshman season. During his redshirt-sophomore campaign in 2025, McConnell made his collegiate debut against Michigan State on October 18 and appeared in three games. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
