Daniel Ndukwe, a 6'3" 238-pound junior from Lithonia, Georgia, joined Indiana as a consensus three-star prospect in 2024. He debuted as one of 12 true freshmen that season, appearing in 12 games while recording 117 special teams snaps. In 2025, his sophomore year, Ndukwe appeared in 15 games and recorded 14 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and recorded his first career sack against Oregon, which included a sack-fumble recovered for a touchdown. Ndukwe also blocked a punt against Oregon that led to an IU score and has been the first Hoosier with multiple blocked punts in a season since 2008.
