Billy Gowers is a punter from Melbourne, Australia who transferred to Indiana after one season at Hawai'i. He made his collegiate debut against Stanford on 8/23/2025 and appeared in 13 games as a freshman, recording a 46.2 punting average that set a Hawaii single-season record. Gowers placed 25 career punts inside the 20-yard line, including seven inside the opponent's 10-yard line. He earned first-team All-America honors from Pro Football Focus and Freshman All-America recognition from the Football Writers Association of America. Prior to college, Gowers spent five seasons in the Australian Football League and three in the Victorian Football League, where he was the leading goalkicker for Western Bulldogs in 2018.
