Austin Leibfried is a right tackle from Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, standing 6'6" and weighing 300 pounds. A consensus three-star recruit, he made his collegiate debut in the season opener against FIU on August 31, 2024, as one of 12 true freshmen to appear that season. In his redshirt-freshman year, Leibfried appeared in nine games, including extended time in the second half against Indiana State where he blocked for Khobie Martin's 100-yard rushing performance. He contributed to offensive line efforts that produced 300-yard rushing games in three consecutive contests, a feat not accomplished since 2001. Leibfried played snaps in matchups against Illinois, Maryland, and Purdue, helping Indiana reach the end zone multiple times during the 2025 campaign.
