Mac Resetich is a 6'0", 210-pound free safety from Spring Valley, Illinois, where he attended Spring Valley Hall High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he made his Illinois debut with one tackle in a season-opening win versus Toledo on September 2, 2023. Over three seasons, Resetich has appeared in all 13 games twice. In 2025, his junior year, he recorded 19 total tackles with 12 solo and one quarterback hurry across all contests, while returning his first career kickoff for 25 yards against Maryland on November 15, 2025. As a 2026 senior, Resetich currently serves as a returning defensive back for the Fighting Illini.
