Logan Farrell is a tight end for the Illinois Fighting Illini. The 6'3", 250-pound Arlington Heights native was a three-star recruit in the 2025 class, ranking tenth among tight ends by national outlets. At John Hersey High School under coach Tom Nelson, Farrell recorded 63 receptions for 828 yards and 19 touchdowns across his sophomore and junior seasons. He earned two-time Mid-Suburban League All-Conference honors and two-time all-area selection. Farrell also competed in track and field, winning the state discus championship as a senior with a throw of 196' 10.5". He redshirted the 2025 season after missing it with an injury and returns as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
