Kaedyn Cobbs is a true freshman defensive back for the Illinois Fighting Illini, standing 6'1" and weighing 215 pounds. A three-star recruit from Denton, Texas, Cobbs attended Guyer High School under head coach Reed Heim, where he earned four letters and was named 2025 District 5 6A Offensive MVP. During his high school career, he accumulated 129 tackles, rushed for 1,435 yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior, and competed in track, helping the 4x100 relay set a school record. Cobbs received offers from Baylor, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, SMU, and Texas Tech. He is majoring in business undeclared.
