Jacob Alexander is a linebacker for the Illinois Fighting Illini who stands 6'4" and weighs 245 pounds. A native of Frankfort, Illinois, he attended Lincoln Way East High School, where he recorded 80 tackles, 11.0 sacks, and 16.0 tackles for loss. He also forced three fumbles and recovered one fumble as a prep player. Alexander was a three-star recruit ranked #75 by recruiting services and received offers from Cincinnati, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, and Wisconsin, among others. He joined Illinois as a true freshman in the class of 2026 and is majoring in recreation, sport, and tourism.
