Eddie Tuerk is a redshirt sophomore right guard for the Illinois Fighting Illini, standing 6'4" and weighing 320 pounds. A native of La Grange, Illinois, Tuerk attended Lyons Township High School, where he recorded 37 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks as a senior. He was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class and made his Illinois debut at Wrigley Field against Northwestern on November 30, 2024. In 2025, Tuerk appeared in all 13 games, primarily on special teams.
